ADULT DAY PROGRAM

Horizon 19 is a licensed Adult Day Program located in Antioch, CA that serves participants five days a week, for 5 hours a day. Our Person Centered Model empowers participants with the autonomy to choose their own classes, such as Art, Health & Wellness, Life Skills, Adventurers, Advocacy/Volunteers & Occupations, Explorers, and Music & Movement, offering participants opportunities to use and develop their learned skills.

Horizon 19 Explore the Outdoors

Our outings allow participants to enjoy the outdoors, participate in recreational activities, and engage in physical movement. We enjoy activities such as walks, sports, and outdoor lunches.

Horizon 19 Culinary

Culinary classes offer participants a unique opportunity to delve into the world of cooking and develop essential skills. These classes not only teach the art of preparing delicious meals but also instill a deep understanding of food, nutrition, and the importance of balanced meals.

Horizon 19 Volunteers

Our program has formed a partnership with the Antioch Food Bank, and our participants actively volunteer twice a week, packaging and distributing pantry goods to 500 families in the community each month.

Horizon 19 Creates

Our art classes is a favorite among our participants. Participants learn new art techniques and create masterpieces. Art classes help foster experimentation and creative expression.
